The Renovation Rescue projects task was to completly renovate the existing home to a Modern Hamptons style home.

Challenges we faced were the Heritage councils requirements on how much you could change the facade of a home in a heritage protected street. We were only able to use certain colours and there were features to the front facade that were required to stay with the allowance of the fact that they could be refreshed eg; repainted, new version made with fresh materials. 

There was also the building height restriction to the rear of the property, the client wanted an extension for a rear deck, howver because the site sloped down we could only extend out so far so that the roof height didnt exceed 8.5m. 

I was able to turn a 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home into a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, office, kitchen, living, dining, front and rear deck home, with a carport.
